Community Heroes

We’re excited to launch Community Heroes to celebrate and support local responders in our community!

What’s Happening?

We’re kicking off our inaugural Community Heroes recognition in Lamar County, TX. We're looking for outstanding First Responders (police officers, EMTs, paramedics, and firefighters) in our community and we need your help. You need not be a member to nominate your favorite, but we ask that you nominate your favorite(s) only once and keep to a 100- to 250-word description. 

Why It Matters:

Community Heroes is a way for our Paris branch and RRCU to show appreciation for the incredible work of local responders and highlight our commitment to community involvement.

How It Works:

1. Nominate - Submit your nomination for your favorite first responder using the form below.
   Nominations are open now through Columbus Day, October 13th.
2. Vote - Once nominations close, we’ll compile the top three nominees.
   Voting opens the week of October 14th and will remain open for two weeks.
   Be sure to check back and cast your vote!
3. Celebrate! - The first responder with the most votes will receive a Blackstone grill with carrying case, and we’ll make a $500 donation to the charity of their choice.
